I have 'em. So far, they only seem to be a problem with my weak hives, but even then (last year), it seemed to me that the Wax Moth put the nails in the coffins.
I have seen a bee chew on one - shook it like a dog would shake a toy. It made me laugh. That gal was not playing around. Not sure if it really hurt the beetle though.
